Garmin 2730 to Techmount

I'm replacing the GPS Ram cradle/ball/arm assembly to a Techmount. I purchased the 2730 on the ebay firesale last year... you remember that one! It did not come with a Garmin MC mount and with the Ram cradle it's not needed. But I think with the Techmount, the Garmin MC plate may be required? What do I need for the 2730 mounted to a Techmount?

Looks like the Garmin MC plate goes directly onto the techmount? No other adaptor required? Do the four holes line up or am I drilling?
