My annual New Years day ride took me on a real nice ride. I had to stop by Cycle Gear for a new baklava for the neck, 93 octane non-ethanol gas for the fine tuned motor and miles to go. I rode from my home in Medford Oregon to a Casino about 75 miles away, north on Interstate 5, 7 feathers in Canyonville OR.. The road was wet, trucks hauling ass and me hanging out in the wind.

It took a whole hour to go one way, stopped in at 7 Feathers Casino in Canyonville Oregon. Wasn't to cold today. When i left the house it was about 42 degrees "F". By the time i got to Grants Pass Oregon where it was a few degrees warmer, the sun was trying to peak through the low fog. I swear my speedo is messed up because even the cars with California license plates were hauling ass. The truckers were doing way over the posted speed limit, until they got to the hills between Grants Pass and Canyonvilel. Those damn trucks would bunch up on the hills and try to pass while going 25 on a roadway that has a 65  MPH limit, jackasses.

When i got to the casino the temp was about 51 degrees F. When I left, about 30 minutes later after watching Alabama, Role Tide, sneak ahead of Michigan the temp went up to 57 F.

Nice ride, fast and made me feel alive again after sitting on the couch or the desk chair at work.

Hope you all have a great new year.
