I wish I could get my voiceless 2820 refurbished. She lost her voice during a software update (!) and I could never recover her guidance....

And I just did a lifetime updates to my existing one and the screen started to go out shortly afterward. UGH. I didn't think you could still get a 2820; even a refurbished one.

My 2820 is still working (arguable if you've ridden with me). It's a good one. But, I'll be shopping for a replacement over the winter.

I'm using a 2820 with XM and 2014.20 maps, and it has some advantages over current GPS models because you get great road detail, including upcoming intersections on the top bar. The biggest disadvantage is it has no internal battery and if left on, will discharge the bike battery overnight.
