My 04 is due for Valve Check and TBS. Anybody that can be recommended in the Nashville/Middle Tenn. area? Would be nice to leave with someone that actually rides one.

Sloan's Yamaha in Murfreesboro, TN might be a good option for you. One of the Parts Department guys has an FJR and he likely knows a good tech. I live in the northwestern portion of Middle TN and I've done all the service on my '04 FJR myself so I don't know much about the local dealers.
Sloan's is a big, long established dealer. They likely have very good techs.

If you live in the southern portion of Middle TN you might take your bike to D & H Cycle in Cullman, AL. This Yamaha/Kawasaki dealer specializes in FJR's and is right off I-65 about midway between Huntsville and Birmingham. Many forum members bought their FJR's at D & H Cycle. I bought mine there in 2003 but I've never been back. I call them occasionally with a question but I don't know anything about their service quality.
