Well boys, the spare bed has been taken...so please add Randy and myself to the spinners list.

We are both COGgers and look forward to our first FJR ride. We plan on joining your caravan @ Coon Valley @ 9am. (snipe or no)

He's on the '05 and I have an '03, so we are anxious to see what's new in FJRdom. Thanks , Roger

Went riding some serpentine roads last night with some guys and I have to say my bike is still not right after last Fall. So I'll be tearing into the front end again and try to figure this out. I'd like to get the bike right before next weekend obviously. If I don't, I hope there'll be a "slow" going. I also realized I musta left a great deal of my confidence on that Missouri asphalt as well.

No problem Mike, you can tour with me as I will most likely be bring up the little bike and not the FJR.

No one gets left behind with us Mike, so do please ride in your comfort zone. You'll get up to speed soon enough, take all the time you need buddy.

+1 It took me a Looong time to get really comfortable again and everybody was totally cool. Nobody is leaving anybody behind. Take your sweet time.

Just wanted to say thanks for the open invite... will be out of town up north this weekend. Should be a blast ride for you guys! Enjoy.

Hey guys - I've been a reader of this forum for ~6 months, but haven't posted much. I just put new PR3's on and thought this would be a great way to try them out. I would like to join you on this ride if I can get a pass from my wife and assuming it is OK with the group. I live in east Metro area of Twin Cities and would probably ride down on Friday afternoon. I've ridden many of these roads in the past and love this area..........

Hey 6pk2go looks like we may live close, if you can get away by 10am or so we could ride down together. Let me know.

Spin participants updated on the first post. Let me know if I'm missing anyone.

Not sure if Mike's buddy is still coming, but I haven't seen a "no" yet.

Mike's post below from page 2.

Then again, maybe it's time I actually work for one of those smaller cert.s.
Yeah, like getting there and back without losing your yellow nuts.

j/k Mikey....
LOL Yeah I quess the whole secret really is about staying upright. Can't afford to spill the nuts anymore.

Just spoke with a buddy of mine, Bob <busadevil>, and he would like to join in on the festivities. Gramps has met at Tech Day. Actually Bob was quite instrumental in building my confidence when I first got my bike.

Weather forecast is for rain Thurs night into Fri morning, so will keep an eye on the radar to determine timing. I have a few other commitments that morning, so will likely not get out of here until 11:30- noon and plan to arrive ~6:00. I like to stop for lunch and/or ice cream at Pepin or Nelson. If it works out, we could meet in Prescott -- I will keep you posted............

Yeah the weather could delay my 10am departure, I'll keep you posted.

Bob just booked his room for Friday night. Currently I am still planning on making it a one day affair.
from pg 3 He's coming
Hey Mike, do you have any ideas when Bob is heading down?

Been camped out on weather.com, looks like mother nature is giving us some great riding weather. Maybe a little wet on Friday, but looking at the temps even that would be welcome.

My plan is to be at Prescott at noon Friday - will stop for lunch in either Pepin or Nelson. If you want to meet, south end of town where road narrows down, across from No Name Saloon at noon would work. Plan to get to Richland Center ~6:00

Becareful 6pk2go, now that Gramps has that dual sport trumpet he is liable to take you on a few detours through some forests and ford a few rivers along the way. After riding some of his suggested roads from his FJR days I hate to see where he's taking that Triumph these days.

See everyone tomorrow, except the Saturday only crowd.
