I want to buy a manual for the 15, but they don't list one. Are there any differences(other than color) between the 14 and 15?

There is a 2013-2015 manual. I just ordered it (screen said 2014) last week from Yamaha and received it Wednesday.

Another thing that the site does that is confusing is list manuals for different models, but I checked each one and the part number for the manual is the same for all of them. Why do they do that?? Why don't they list it as 2013-2015? Thanks for the response. I will order one today.

I get a 14. Just don't choose the Cali version. The website is glitchy. One time you'll enter your parameters, and nothing you want comes back. Go back and enter the exact same data again, and it'll show. I selected 2014, FJR1300, FJR1300AER, and I got (after a couple of tries) 2014, FJR13AER, Service Manual, LIT-11616-26-45, for $93.00, plus shipping. Tried to post a picture but no combination of photobucket steps, to include the ones in the FAQ, will allow a picture to be posted using HTML/URL/etc.

Still no pic. Some days it works, some days not. What arrives is a service manual labeled FJR1300 2013-2015.

I just went to the site using the link in your post. I do see a 2014 now. The ES manual is the same as the one listed for the 2013. LIT-11616-27-49

I guess that is the one I need. there are two models listed, but the manual is the same for both. Still don't understand why they have to confuse people like that!

Thanks

I just got mine from Yamaha. I ordered it online on the 27th June and received the book yesterday, 6 July. I didn't notice any particular glitchiness with the site. Maybe I'm so used to the Yamaha Way that I don't notice it anymore. I also use some Yamaha keyboards, the manuals for them are really something!

I have one. $75 at the dealer, but he will have to order it. Some dealers may want closer to $100. They rarely have them in stock.
Can you hook me up with one for $75? That is cheaper than ordering from Yamaha.
No I can't, sorry. The dealer (not knowing what they really cost) quoted me $50. Then when it came in, he had around $85 in it including shipping. Since he told me $50, he waffled and gave it to me for $75. There was no reason to push the issue so I paid the $75 knowing it was a good deal.

If I could get my hands on a digital copy, I'd sell you mine at a discount.

I wondered how you got it so cheap!

Thanks, but I am just going to buy one.

Bill...There are no legal digital copies of the 2015 service manual. Any digital copy you find on Ebay or any other site is from a damn thief. The thief likely uses his employers high speed scanner (additional theft) to scan copyrighted information from the genuine manual. Some of these lazy ass jerks even have the audacity to claim that the information is "theirs" and to beware of copies. GeezeLouise. I hate a damn thief.

My Harley service manuals usually cost about $50 or so. They are quite a bit better, on several levels, than the Yamaha service manual.

I wonder, you guys that find the website to be glitchy, are you using a MacBook and Safari? It's what I use and sometimes I have problems, not often. But every time I've had a problem, using Firefox instead has solved the problem.

Firefox might help. But IE and windows or safari produce glitches sometimes, sometimes not. Regarding a digital copy- I'd be surprised if legal digital copies aren't made available to authorized service providers. Bootleg isn't my style. I was surprised the option wasn't selectable on the website.
