I've got no plans for June or July. I'm thinking another trip back down, and then bopping over through WVA is in the cards. Most likely July.
I could probably use a vacation day and make a 3 day weekend last weekend of June, first weekend of July if you can be away from Canada on Canada Day...whatever that is.

Middle of July is a week long trip on the bike with wifey to Indiana, Kentucky, Va, WV, Ohio and home. (Trying to only do about 2 -250 miles a day on travel days, with a few "rest" days for hiking and such. I don't know how to plan a trip that way....so wish me luck. :D )

Regret I missed a good ride. :sadsmiley: Maybe next time.

Only a structural engineer could get a woody over a steel bridge and take 50 photos of it......
You did miss a good ride on Saturday...unfortunately Sunday, things got wet and you would have cussed me out and blamed me for the bad weather. I know you. :p

Regarding the steel bridge...you had to be there. But there was gravel Skip. ;) Besides...you're the photographer...you would have taken 100 photos.

Actually Skip, it was a great weekend....but remember Hooterville in the Fall is awaiting.

Crossing the border on the long weekend.. ugh. No.

I'm thinking I'll take a 5 days off spanning 2 weekends... <rubs his chin>.. I've got a kick ass Appalachian route that dips all the way down into NC. I mean this thing barely touches an interstate south of PA. Or, maybe I'll save it for EOM .. ARG! To many choices! Glad I'm not going to NAFO! This is a good problem to have!

Been following this thing and thoroughly enjoying the photos, videos, and wordage.

Really looks like a great time, and count me among those who never realized that Ohio

had cool motorcycle roads.

Thank you, boys, for taking the time to share all this with the unfortunates who couldn't make it.

(The midwest has much more going for it than just this year's probable National Champions in college football. Speaking of ...., is there any good riding

around South Bend?)

You're welcome. Thanks for looking in. I was surprised as heck, too. As most of northern Ohio is as flat as a pancake. Kinda like Wheaton.

Feck no...unless you like riding this...

SE Part 3,

We're going to have to put 669 back in the mix...it's freshly paved and waiting for ya.691 is about half way through the paving process.A slight re-route would put this beauty back in the loop.

Here's a snaky section of the nearly finished 691...

Waiting until June or July to ride the West Loop might just may be a blessing in disguise...it keeps getting better every time ODOT fires up the paving equipment.

You're not alone...I wish I had a dollar for every time someone told me Ohio is flat.

I spent a few months riding in your neck of the woods back in 2006 and 2008...a lot of very cool bridges on the Sacramento River!

Thanks Steve for posting all those videos...I know it's a lot of work. I for one have been enjoying them. :clapping:
My pleasure. Notice the mid corner correction in this one; and that's why you only ride 6 or 7/10's on strange roads.

A bunch of my local sport bike buddies have been watching these vids on facebook. Tonight was bike night and it's been decided that their all a bunch of candy asses because they won't ride down there. So apparently, were renting a trailer sometime in July :D

I'm gonna bring the little WeeBR on down!

Now Steve, you broke the rules....you know you were supposed to go back and brag about slaying Dragons and such...misdirection man! :D

If you and your bud's come down, you better let me know. Wait, let me check my scheduel.......It's clear.
Ha! Count on it Ray!

Your check for the hotel is sitting on my freezer. I'll get it out tomorrow (Long weekend in Canada, everything is closed).

...I'll get pictures and videos posted later on.
Bullcheet.

Okay Timmy, times up. Fork over the videos and photos. :clapping:
Yeah yeah, I know. I haven't forgot. Just haven't been home to do it. I stretched myself pretty thin with work trying to make it to the rally, and I'm paying for it after the rally too. I'll get them up. Ideally, over the holiday weekend. Also going to try my hand at a new web server for hosting the pictures. (A little toy waiting for me when I got back from Ohio.)

Um, uh, no - Ohio has terrible motorcycle roads. Ohio is completely flat. Not a hill or a road with a turn to be found. Anywhere. Don't come here. Don't waste your time... All the pictures and video in this thread were concocted on the same sound stage where the moon landing was filmed...

:assassin:

Ditto on the "Don't come here". It's awful riding and the Amish are rude and flip you off all the time. I'm thinking about writing the Governor.
