On my way home from NAFO, riding with MCML and his friend Mark.
4 miles West of Goldendale, WA, on HWY 142. Heading to Hood river, OR for the night.
Not too bad for a "Candy Butt" rider who took a couple of years off riding this bike AND 5 1/2 months recovering from the KLR fiasco.

Can I include Wabs miles here, or strictly Fjr only club? :huh:
Speaking of Wabs, on our Plain Jane's Diner RTE on Sunday, we'd pulled into a Dunk's for an iced coffee and short break, and this dusty, crusty lookin' Wee-strom pulls in the lot, fully loaded up with all manner of luggage and camping gear. Even had a couple of those roto-pack fuel cells strapped onto it. The driver, who was as (if not more) dusty and crusty lookin' as the bike was, came into the coffee shop and wandered over to where we were sitting, map in his hands, and asked, "Where the heck am I? What town is this?"
"This is Hopkinton." we tell him. "Where are you heading?
"Well, I'm heading over towards Maine, I guess, and then plan on wandering down the coast to..." his voice wanders off.
"Where did you set out from?" asks ionbeam.
"I'm from California. Just out for a little ride." he smiled, still with a road weary expression. :huh:
We left him a while later still sipping his coffee, still pouring over the paper map, apparently in no real rush to get anywhere.
He sure as hell made me jealous.

I bought the 08 FJRA from FJRONAMISSION, who had broken it in with 54k miles.
One the ride home, the bike and I had that "You'll be spending the next 3/4 of your life in WA now" conversation.
And danged if I didn't miss the turn to 55555 miles this week. I love those odometer number games.

I vote FJR only. To me, the value of this thread is not necessarily for people to brag about how many miles they've put on, but rather to show how many of these bikes can reach these high milages. I know this kind of information was invaluable to me when I was first looking at the FJR thinking anything over 10-20k on a bike was really high miles and to keep looking.

I think it is more. When you reach 100,000 on one FJR, and doing this all by yourself produces a special feeling. It is a special accomplishment, not only by you but also by the bike. You do this together and that is what this thread is about.
Unless you have done the 100K, you can only imagine the feeling. As noted above, 10-20K seamed to be high mileage on a bike, 100K is not only high but unusual. Kudo's ( KUDOS is "Respect and recognition" ) to all that make the 100K and more.

100,000 miles on my '05 last Friday. Got her brand new just under 8 years ago (8/31/04) - Helluva bike, but you all knew that already.

Just clicked over 100,000 miles on my 03 this morning, catching up with my fj1200 now
