I can tell you a 15" MacBook Pro will fit, a 17" Macbook Pro will NOT.

I too had not read of your accident until now. Praying for your continued recovery. I came to the FJR after a string of Porsches and can recommend good folks at rennlist.com, and the local PCA chapter. I'd sure welcome you sticking around on this board too :-)

Very nice report. Quite the diversity of scenery! My favs were the twistys of the Gila, followed by the twistys above PCH, and the sunrise on I-25. All awesome to see and read though, thanks for sharing. Have to see where I can pickup a class like that, seems like a great way to get real-world...

I thought for sure I wanted an RT but a friend convinced me to try an FJR before pulling the trigger. Take the advice already offered and ride one. Totally will cement your thinking one way or another. I ride year round, and I think the RT would still be the better winter bike and maybe better...

What made you choose the SMH10 over the Scala built into the neck roll? And do you notice any additional drag/buffeting/noise with Sena on the side? Is it still easy to operate located far enough back to accommodate the visor lever?
