    well just got back. I went over 6000 ft not a single problem looks like the new ecu did the trick.

    Got my letter yesterday had my new ecu installed today. I am going to take it up past 7000 ft tomorow on Hwy 88 past carson pass. I will post tomorow night to let you all know how it went. :yahoo:

    yes they are taking the ecu's back. They get a huge fine from yamaha if they dont send them back as I understand.

    I think the rp15y is the year the 26A i dont know. But the last 6 is and the rp15y is what I asume is the proper range. I should hear back from my dealer today if not i will go down there before work.

    Thank you very much for the confirmation. I will stop by the dealer on my way to work tomorow so I can show them what I have. I think maybe he looked at my vin wrong or something. Hopefully I get a phone call from my dealer with some good news before I have to go down there. Thanks again.
