So why does the factory specify 8,000 mile plug change intervals on Gen 3s? Flash

The service manual for my 2014 FJR says plug changes every 8,000 miles. Any reason for this? Seems like a very short interval. Flash

There was an 04 at my local dealer, Champion Motorcycles, that had......278,000 miles on it and was still going strong. The store manager called Yamaha to let them know and they wanted to buy the bike from the owner to break it down. I don't know if that ever happened. Flash

I have a Neotec and I hate how the chin vent blows air right into my eyes. It's so bad when it's cold that I'm looking at getting another helmet. Anybody else have this problem? Flash
