    EOM 2019 Discussion

Trailered a new bike from Romney, WV, east on 50, north on 29 and then 9 and ended up in Berkeley Springs. Hit some nice roads and scenery on the way.

    EOM 2015 - Location Discussion

I like the idea of SW Virginia, Wytheville, Roanoke, somewhere in that area. VA-16, Burkes Garden, The Snake, VA-58, Blue Ridge, SE West Virginia . . . all in striking distance, plenty of major roads to get you there quickly. I'm overdue.

    2013 FJR

For what it's worth, just picked up a leftover '13 from a dealer in Johnstown, PA for $12,499.00. This didn't include freight / handling, tax, or documentation fees, which added $1,266.00. Traded in my '04 and I'm absolutely thrilled with this '13. There is enough different along with all...

EOM 2014 Location & Date Poll and Opinions thread.

Haven't made a meet since '10, but I lean towards returning to WV ('08). That said, based on the comments, if Maggie Valley is the choice, I'll make it.

    2012 FJR1300 information released

Well put Jeff! I still consider the FJR as the best styled Sport Tourer out there. The new Beemer may have balls and features, but it has a hell of a price tag and it ain't nothin' to look at.

What's a great little stablemate for the FJR

An '06 SV650 has been the FJR's stablemate for over 3 years and it's tough to fault. Well . . . . . just picked up a '09 leftover FZ1 for $8K out the door. I couldn't resist. I'm now stuck with having to sell the SV since it either goes, or my wife divorces me. Now that I think about it??????

    Challenge the Dragon

I prefer to have asphalt under my FJR, so I'll pass on the "alternative" route out the east side, but the twisties do look tempting.

    Challenge the Dragon

They don't come much better than this stretch and don't forget to take a run into Burke's Garden just northeast of Tazewell while you're there.

    EOM '11

I'm following if you're leading! I LUV barbecue almost as much as I LUV my FJR.

How does one become an EOM host?

Fred said: "I no longer want to have EOM in the Northeast at all. Ever. I think it should forever remain in the center states of the East Coast, where the greatest number of easterners will have a good shot at attending, and where arguably the finest motorcycle roads in America exist." Being...

    VA-16 Video

I just don't think you have it in you to go that slow . . . . not in this lifetime! Oh . . I'll take a rain check on the winter ride!
