I just sold all my other bikes and kept my 2014 KTM 1190. All the electronics can be turned off. It's as fun as my FJR ever was. Waiting on crash protection before I begin the offroad thrash. Once I discover areas of weakness I'll pick out 4 other bikes.

I concur with Scoot's statements on the 3-cyl engine. It's a hoot. My other bike is a 2004 955i Tiger and it is a blast to ride (even if it won't go faster than 120). It's an absolute blast. I'm interested in test-riding a Trophy, for sure. --hellcreep

I'll be headed from Texas to Anchorage in mid-June to return in late July. Is anyone interested/able to come along? Once out of the inferno south I expect to camp 2-3 days at a time with cheap motels thrown into the mix for the occasional shower & laundry. --hellcreep

I have a Blinder M-25 w/ the SpeedCheetah add-on kit installed. I haven't received any laser tickets since it's been installed (2.5 years now). I've gotten plenty of radar-based ones, though. --hellcreep
