    2 brothers carbon fiber exhaust

Thanks guys! I guess tomorrow I will join the loud crowd. Brought home the 2014ES on Wedensday - today I got the Zumo wired in , the Corbin seat on and the Soupy's lowering links installed. Need 200 more km before the first oil change ( sounds like an ice cream ride for me)Then off to Colorado...

    2 brothers carbon fiber exhaust

I picked up a pair of 2 brothers carbon fiber slip ons and am having second thoughts about putting them on. Their declaimer says they may need to repacked every 3000 miles. Any one got experience? Seems a little extreme to repack more often then we change oil. Is this just for extreme use like...

    The 2014 FJR1300 - Woo-hoo!

WOW It's great to be Canadian! Was thinking it might be time to upgrade the 08. Now Yamaha gives me black wheels and black tank trim to go with all the new tech stuff ~ Better rethink my attitude towards overtime. The red would have been passed over for sure.

    Use center stand after lowered?

https://www.soupysperformance.com/fjrparts.html I have this adjustable side stand and lowering links. They work great. Like a previous post just run the wheel up on a 2x6 and using center stand is easy. No need to cutting up original side stand.

Just got invited to ride from BC to Bear Lake ID. Sept 15.I wasn't planning any more road trips this year so my Z8's were supposed to last this season doing short local stuff. So here is my dilemma, I'm not about to turn down a ride offer and I don't really have time to get new tires before...

Garmin Montana 650, alternative to Zumo?

I've been using the Oregon for a few years now mounted on a Tourtech centerbolt mount. Works great on and off the bike, One unit meets all my hiking, biking, snowmobiling and geocaching needs. The only reason I'm considering a Zumo is for the bluetooth comunications hub which you said you don't...

    Back home safe and dry

This for the two new friends we made on our 11 day ( 5000km) trip down the Oregon Coast as far as the California Redwoods and back through the twisted desert country of Oregon. We arrived home safe early this afternoon. The raingear never got out of the top box! A first for our muti day trips.

    more caca in panties

Saw something today that I'd never seen before. An elk was running along the guardrail in the on coming lane with a pickup "herding it". About the time I grabbed a handful of brake she jumped the guardrail. I did not check to see how far she would tumble to the lake!
