    FJR with sidecar

This thing is a monstrosity. I investigated the whole concept a few years ago. You have to replace the who front end of the bike! And the best part is, you can't just disconnect the sidecar to ride around without it! It;s more or less a permanent conversion to a three-wheeler.

Fastest Tourer? FJR takes a respectable 6th place

That list is completely bogus. How can you have a list of the top ten fastest ANYTHING without including all of the top speeds? I'm calling BS in the whole deal. Just a list of ST bikes in no particular order.

    Tapeworks Rimstriping widget on Kickstarter

First of all, I just want state that I have no financial or personal interest in Tapeworks. That being said, the owner is trying to raise money to finance the production of a tool to make applying rimstripes relatively foolproof. It looks pretty cool to me and relatively mechanically sound...

Australian Police Box for GenII FJR1300 SOLD!

I have for sale an Australian Police Box that I bought off a guy on the Ozzie forum. I started in on refinishing it, but haven't gotten too far (filled in a few of the holes, lined with fiberglass, began sanding etc). Looks pretty scuffed up because it is in preparation for new paint. I'll...

    - SOLD - 2006 FJR1300AE, 16122 Miles $6300 - Chapel Hill, NC (see linked Craigslist ad)

I've done the commute many times and it's not much fun in rain/cold or extreme heat. I can't show up to work soaking wet from rain or sweat and not much great on the ride home in rain/heat either. At 45 mpg or so, I can do about the same with a very small car. Maybe I'm just getting old.

    - SOLD - 2006 FJR1300AE, 16122 Miles $6300 - Chapel Hill, NC (see linked Craigslist ad)

Lovingly used. Bought it second hand in 2009 with about 6000 miles on it, I put on about 10,000. GARAGE KEPT - battery tender used over the winter. Not willing to part out any of the farkles - yet. (over $4000 in accessories, farkles, some never installed). My daily commute just jumped from...

    eBay: Brand New Trunk *cheap*

A bit risky however, since you have no idea what's in the box or what condition the contents are in.

    Corbin Smuggler

You can also make small adjustments to the hinge and latch on the smuggler to make it seal tighter. On the one I had you had apply a very small amount of pressure to engage the latch - never had a water issue.

TPM System and Valve Stems Review

I have a set of TPMS very similar to these (nearly identical from what I can tell). Tiregard brand. The thing that bothers me is the fact that when you attach them, you are opening the valve to the tire. This is how it reads the tire pressure. The sensor must seal perfectly to the valve stem...

    Echo or Stihl

I bought a Stihl 250 (18" bar) at the beginning of the summer to cut up a 100-ft tall poplar that came down in my front yard. Bought it primarily because a local garden center is an authorized sales and service center. Runs like a champ. Probably have something like 150 hours on it already...
