It'll take you about 3.5 hours to get from Charlotte to Deals Gap (Dragon), so 4 days is plenty of time. There are tons of other great roads to ride in that area. If you have 4 days, you'll be able to ride plenty of them. Have a great time!

Swapping the AK's back to stock

North GA is not too bad. 65 and sunny today. 30 minutes to tight twisties. 1.5 hours to the Dragon's Tail, the Blue Ridge Pkwy and more. Nice, clean roads and not many cops. Bliss!

Welcome to the FJR family. I bought a used 06 ealrier this year and did a trip to Idaho from ATL (7500 miles). Having come from Harleys, I am loving the FJR for long distance and weekend twisties.
