I use the Kisan tailblazer. I originally bought the hd model and kept getting an ABS light. Kisan gave me the hd-m version and it's been working fine for 3 years. I can't answer about the cruise control.

There is an extra module you can buy from Dynojet that allows you to load two maps. Then the best thing you could do is customs maps for your bike on a dyno. Have them make one map for mileage and one for power. A switch is added so you can change maps while driving I have a friend with this...

Look at the part number for the bulbs you have. If they are 100HD then you need the 100HD-M for monitored light systems. Talk to Kisan. They might swap the bulbs for you.

The powercommander comes with a "zero" map for your year model with no mods. This will make some difference in the throttle but not much. Search for wally's smoothness map or I think even better uselesspickles calculated smoothness map. Connect your laptop to the pc3 and send the map to the pc3.

You said yourself there was old gas in the tank. I would believe the old gas was causing the problem. There isn't any change to the way the ECU is operating when the fuel light comes on that I know of.
