    Sheepskin Deat Pad Group Buy

A few weeks ago I was eying the Aerostich pads and almost ordered one. I am glad I waited, the price for this one was definitely worth the wait. Not to mention the super-fast shipping. Couldn't believe it when I got it on Monday,... from Alaska no less. Thanks Howard for organizing this GP.

    Sheepskin Deat Pad Group Buy

Ordered Friday night and got it today in the mail. Super fast shipping, wow. It looks very nice and I will try it on the weekend on a longer ride to see if it makes a difference. I'll report back.

Got to try out my new Gerbings gloves this week

I have a pair of first gen G3 gloves and use them with the controller. I did send them in to get fixed earlier this year because my fingers got cold after riding for longer periods below 30°F. I only had a chance to try them once since getting them back. It wasn't that cold so I can't really...

I just found my most favoritest dyno chart ever!

An Amurricen V8 turning at 18,000,...I imagine that would be downright scary. In sight and in sound.

Fall foliage Ride 2009 Virginia, West Virginia

Bob, Thanks for posting the report with pics and missing the napkins. Btw, that rain suit left this morning with the trash pick-up. :rip_1:

    Fall Foliage Ride(s)

Made it home safe and sound around 6 pm. After splitting in Newcastle I rode with Jim and Greg on 609 until we split up at the intersection of Roaring Run. Greg and Jim took Roaring Run and I rode up to Eagle Rock on 43 and then up on the BRP to enjoy some more nice views. Even with the rain...

    V-Strom Hand Guard Extenders

Bob, you need to call them and order them over the phone. They do not have them listed on their website. I think the person you need to talk to is Guru Glen. Ingo

    Fall Foliage Ride(s)

While you were typing the above posts I had edited my previous one to reflect the new forecast. We are on the same page again.

    Fall Foliage Ride(s)

Bob, I don't know what crystal ball you are looking at to get your forecasts, but the forecasts I am checking have been getting progressively worse as the week continued. At least for Saturday that is. Edit: I just checked again and it seems they revised their forecast somewhat for Saturday...

    Fall Foliage Ride(s)

Hi Ross, Can't say I blame you for not wanting to ride in the rain. Hope you have a great trip wherever you end up this weekend. Ingo

    Fall Foliage Ride(s)

Well, I don't really know if I want Saturday to come here. After a few days of restraining myself I checked the weather this morning. It ain't looking good. This is what the forecast was for Lewisburg on Sat. Showers with isolated thunderstorms in the morning... then showers likely in the...

    V-Strom Hand Guard Extenders

I don't have the guards yet, but plan on installing them this winter. The extenders you made look like a nice add-on for the guards. I will definitely keep these in mind when I get the guards.

    Fall Foliage Ride(s)

Raingear is definitely on the packing list. Went out today to scrub my new tires in. This is what leaf peeping looks like when the weather is beautiful. Pics are posted on the other forum. https://fjriders.com/forum/showthread.php?p=55922#post55922 And Bob, the camera I am bringing with me...

    FJR rear suspension linkages

So, if I understand that right, the dogbones broke on the suspension due to the bearings seizing. I just had my swingarm and rear suspension apart. Didn't notice any wear or cracks. Wonder how many miles they had on their bikes. Btw, you have to be a member to view the first link.

    GPS route planning help

Here is another tip. When you place the waypoint (in Mapsource) directly on an intersection it will make it a map intersection aka "shaping point." These points are not announced when you driving down the road. Very useful if you don't want to be bothered with useless info and just want the turn...
