    2014 FJR for sale

Heated Gerbing controller or helmet speaker/intercom - I'd have to look at which brand. There are multiple inputs for GPS and/or radar detector with Bluetooth as well that I used for phone/tunes. From the controller I have it wired to helmet speakers - I think that's the wire you are referring to.

    Happy with your "fuse-block" location?

My CenTech AP-1 is under the tail - obviously easy to access. I originally had hoped to put it on the fairing side of the battery on the '14 but it just won't quite fit. Close, but no cigar. So in that area is my 12-volt relay since the headlight relay is in that area as well - so bike...

    Bought A '14 A

Interesting - on my '14a I don't notice either jumping around. Maybe I'm just glancing at them a bit shorter but they both seem easy to read to me. In fact, once up to operating temperature it stays pretty much within 10 degrees. Although, I would have preferred a temperature gauge/icon of...

    Aaaaaahhhh!

It's amazing how those periods of abstinence (from many different activities) are so much more enjoyable when you can again participate!

    2014 horn

I assume the PIAA 85112 - that's what I am going with after reading this thread. Combined power draw is 5.4 amps. Looks easy enough to hook up. I assume you just spliced into the OEM wire and worked it across the top of the radiator.

    Braking Technique

All terrific advice, thanks. For not having barely used the rear brake at speed in forever, I think I need to re-learn it for normal braking if only for the unified part. Now, never having had an ABS before, for straight-up panic stop get into position as Bungie describes, simultaneously grab...

    Braking Technique

Guys, I recently went from my trusty gen 1 to a purty red 2014. I understand how ABS/UBS works technically, I'm not sure what the proper technique should be. On my gen 1, non-ABS, I rarely used the rear brake at all. I had steel brake lines and good pads - normal (99%) of braking is two...

    2014 First Road Trip

I was just down in western South Carolina visiting my father for a long weekend. This was the ride home last Monday. Nasty snow squalls, almost no visibility. Stopped in this gas station for an hour, tried again, and rode right back into the squall, Then I found a hotel. Oh, and yes, the...

    Break-in

I have a weird situation. I have a '14, just have 200 miles on the clock. I want to take a trip next week that is 600 miles each way. No, it's not practical to put on another 400 miles before I leave for the initial engine/drive oil change. I wish... I could change the oil when there if I...
