A lot has been said about Motoport gear and it is quality stuff no doubt. However, there are other hot weather options which will still provide very good protection without breaking the bank.

The Rev'it Turbine pants and jacket. They flow an astounding amount of air, are very comfortable, and won't break the bank. For me, I own a set of the Sand pants & Jacket along with the Jerez gloves. These are good up until about 95 degrees for me. Since I also live in FL I ordered a set of the Turbine gear to go along with the Sand if I'm going to be riding just in FL. Any more than that I'll simply wear the Sand gear and a cool rider vest.

Plus, the owner of Beach Moto is a good guy and has always been very helpful.

There is a huge thread discussing the gear and his shop here:

I'm not affiliated just a happy customer.

For gloves, look at the Hatch CoolTac™ Motor Officer Gloves, CMT 100. https://www.hatch-corp.com/detail.aspx?pid=CTM100
If that link goes against the rules, I apoligize, first time I've done it.
Am I seeing this right? These gloves appear to be all (highly rippable) material except for the leather palm. & you'd really recommend these to someone looking for protection?

Find some perforated leather gloves for good protection.

Wish I could afford Motoport. If and when I can I will buy myself, at a minimum, the air pants. I wear a Cortech GX Air jacket. Flows good air & with leather in all high impact areas @ a fraction of the price of Motoport.
