A few pix from the Official Roundup Supper
Three kinds of local Craft Beer - Canyon Cream Ale, Lookout Lager and an IPA.
The Cream Ale went first, then the Lager and finally the IPA back in the parking lot at Rally HQ
a Pensive FJRay
Griff making his point.
Marty (OFACE) obviously really impressed! Jer in the foreground studys his beer carefully.
Festar (Brian Maddy) stepped up and really showed his acumen as a Chef. Thanks Mate!
Jer discussing the 1000m and one known reasons why Chris should ditch his Harley and buy an FJR. Chris was our token HD rider and he hustled that big beast right along.
These two rode a lot and then changed clothes and walked wherever they got to. Great folks but I'll be damned if I can remember their names now, too much Canyon Cream, sorry, My Bad
Someday in the distant future I hope to be able to replicate what Petey does! He is an inspiration!!!
Pterodactyl - Kevin Huddy even made a brief appearance, he is a popular fellow, splitting his time between the Sidecar Rally/Blue Grass Festival, the FJR Roundup and a couple of friends in Spearfish. Yamafitter in the background eagerly awaiting the 14oz NY Steaks
The "Divine Miss T" had her big camera out. We eagerly await her Ride Report and superior photos'!
Sacramento Mike showed up with 10,000 Sticky Labels and a Sharpie. Everyone was suitably Identified and Labeled for the entire event. Thanks Mike!
Dr Rich and Jer were a little late and were in quite the rush to get their share of the beer before the Kanuckistani's drank more than their share.
The resident experts from the NW and the Midwest solving some kind of technical issue.
Certainly the winner of the Long Distance Ridden to get here award! PEIFJR seemed to enjoy himself thoroughly.
Oface and Festar debating the merits of the Beer choices.
About this time Abercrombie FJR showed up and started caressing the aforementioned 14 OZ NY Steaks. I'm not sure just what he did with or too them but they were plastic fork and knife tender and very flavorful. I know there are pictures of the Grill Meister hard at work, unfortunately I didn't capture any photos of the man at work. Someone help me out here.
It was fitting that Kevin (Abercrombie FJR) won the pair of boots Alex from Real Time Industries donated. Thanks Alex.
Two of the local Yamaha Dealers, Outdoor Motorsports in Spearfish and Black Hills Powersports in Rapid City, donated money to buy the beer. If you find yourself in the area send them your business please.
