BMW 12V Connector

Need help this morning.

I am at the office, and would like to install my Drift camera on the BMW Connector.

Nos I am not sure anymore, if the middle pin on the connector is +

Came to work with the car, so I can't measure the female connector on the bike.

Could you please confirm that the middle pin is + or - 12 VDC ?

Pierre, yes the center pole is +...

To help remember, think about the connector and how, if something fell against it, there would be a short if the outside shell was power and the center post (protected deep inside) was ground.

Just a warning:

Although correct, the previous posts are assuming that whoever installed the socket wired it up correctly. For someone who doesn't know what they're doing, they have a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong when they hooked up the wires.
