I unfortunately broke a compression valve while reassembling a front fork on my 2006 FJR (total FAIL)... new valve kits are outrageously expensive. If any of you have done the valve job and have the old second gen. compression valve laying around, I would gladly buy it off you.

Help me out. What's the compression valve look like?

Let me check for you. When GP Suspension worked my 2006 forks they stated the hoodie-doobies were worn out so new ones went in. The compression valve stack should be good. Not sure if I kept them or tossed 'em.

I recommend going ahead with the Race Tech springs and Gold Valves. Made a real nice difference on my 2010 Gen2. Front end doesn't dive during braking any more. Expensive, but this one is worth it. I looked, but I tossed out my used parts the shop gave me back. Now if I could only afford the new Wilbers rear shock!
