I switched from a VStar 650 to an 07 FJR. After the little cruiser, it's like having a Ferrari between your legs. Better than that, it is comfortable for long rides and you can shift around while riding. Cruisers are really restrictive in that regard, putting nearly all of your weight on the tailbone and making you stay there with the pegs so far forward. I got my Saddle Sore 1000 just 3 months after getting the FJR.
