PCiii installed, test ridden without removing O2 sensor yet. Noticed different response on top end, seems like I can rip up to top of range in each gear quicker, much faster up to 100mph+ without even thinking about it and backing off before John Law gets me. Will unhook the O2 tomorrow and actually connect software/maps to it tomorrow. Just gonna ride "stock" one night with no changes so I can later gauge difference in map behaviors better. One change at a time...

Any update to the co2 nod?

Two things:
1. The traffic to my PC3 storage area has been amazing! I never realized how many lurkers there were on this board until I published an all-in-one location for sharing PC3 maps! The hit meter went bonkers. If you have other maps you want to share, contact me via pm and I'll get it posted.

2. Caryt, try Wally's smoothness map (save your current map as a backup, of course). The great thing about the PC3 is that you can adjust things all day and still fall back to your baseline as long as you're careful as you go and save and back things up.
i haven't seen a link to this storage area you mention.

Link was bad for about 3 hours last night, forgot to send in my yearly account renewal. All good now.

Added two new recomputed GenII "Smoothness" maps by Useless Pickle, one for use with stock air filters and one for use with K&N's

Thanks U.P.!

After ECU replacement lost a few MPG'S and seemed to have a little surging in the 35-50mph range with the wally smoothness map. Tried UP's map for the stock 06-07 and after a little test ride seems to have been much improved. Anyone else have any issues with Wally's map after the ECU replacement? Wouldn't think it should have affected the performance but it sure seemed like it did. According to the dashputer I lost about 7mpg. Just trying different maps for now nothing else to do.

I've noticed a fall off in mpg too. However, no surging with Wallys and the new controller.

I can't believe my thread is still alive!!!

I'm having heated and grips and the ECU done at the same time in a week or so, if it ever stops snowing :angry2: !!! I'm just itching to get the bikes out after this long winter! I'll report back if I have any issue with the surging and the new ECU.
