Holeshot Header Question

I have an '05. I have only one heat-related problem with it and that's my feet. They get a little too toasty even on cool days. Can those of you with Holeshot headers say how much of that could be eliminated by getting the header and getting rid of the cats? Seems to me that might be the major source of my hot foots.
