Interesting seat option in the near future

Yes it is a BMW on the test, but at the bottom note that Touratech intends to build one for the FJR 1300. Might be interesting to check out. I didn't see this seat on the Touratech website yet though even for the BMW GS.

I wish their description was more informative. All I'm reading is that it's the same seat, with a new cover. A new cover for $808! That must be a heck of a good cover...

Ok, So, the seat pan and foam has to cost something too, but seriously; the same seat with a new cover for $800. Just seems a little steep. For that much money, you can get a Russel!

I've been touting the draining and airflow that beaded seat covers provide. If that could be incorporated into a thinner, integrated design, great! These seats are almost there. Rather than having a water-impermeable layer like GoreTex on top, there should be a layer that allows water to drain out.

They make high quality things,i have buy some of them,but $808 for a seat cover is ridiculously expensive!!

You're exactly right. Touratech is anything but inexpensive. Some of their stuff is almost worth it, but dayum...You gotta be willing to pay for it to want it from Touratech. Too many good seat options to spend this kind of coin on them. Simply my humble and cheap opinion.
