I think I want to go on this trip also. The desert weather should be cooling down a bit by then, at least under a 100 degrees during the day. Will be a beautiful ride. Lets discuss in Taos. Sounds like fun!!

Just made reservations, have the wife's OK (somewhat grudging) and looking forward to a fun ride. I missed SW-FOG so I am overdue for this. I live in North Phoenix at the intersection of AZ101 and Tatum Blvd. If Don is going the scenic route via Payson and Happy Jack to Flag we can meet at the Casino Gas Station. If the quick way on I17, I am open to suggestions. Just give me a time and place, and I'll be there.

Brother Mark, send off a PM to Big-D! Dan said he was interested in going, if he could save some money up for it!

If OM is going, then I know the photographic opportunities will be plentiful. I'll call the hotels tomorrow to see what is still available. Sounds like a nice ride, never been at the Utah National Parks, especially in the Fall.

Dan

If anyone can't make Don's dates, I'm doing a somewhat similar route in reverse. Sounds like my idea took flight for you, Papa Chuy! ;)
So there you have it Folks, you can either ride Utah with a gorgeous redheaded big-chested Irish Beauty or you can ride with Papa Chuy Viejo; your choice, but I just know Old Michael is going to want to ride with BeemerDonS!

Big-D if you are rooming with Old Michael, then remember just a few words of good advice from Bokerfork, Brodie and BeemerDonS.

1) Always go to sleep wearing three pairs of Levis, one on top of the other.

2) Always get the bed next to the window and make sure you are on the ground floor for ease of jumping out.

3) Try not to get too nervous when just before OM goes to sleep he says out loud: "I would much rather hear a fat boy fart, than a pretty girl sing!" jes' sayin' and nuff' said!

Reservations made and confirmed. Except for the one place that is currently at lunch! Reservations are a Done Deal!! Seems we have a nice group going so far; looking forward to seeing "Jim in Phoenix" again, have not seen him since the 2010 SW-FOG where I ran over his glasses. That CT don't miss much.
