I am hoping the Long Distance Rider guys can help. I was at a rest stop some time ago and noticed what was clearly a LD rider pull in. His bike loaded with his gear. On his handlebar it appeared to be the directions on a manual scrolling device that had a window with his next route change.. I know. No GPS... right... who would use such a manual device :)

Has anyone ever seen this, how it's used or where you can get one?

Thanks in advance

They're popularly called "roadbooks" or "roll charts", used by the adventure ralliers like Dakar, and for sale at sites like Touratech.

I may have a brand new roll chart holder but not from Touratech. PM me if interested and I will start looking.
