I will be starting my BBG Trifecta ( back to back to back BBG's ) attempt around 2:00 AM tonight, Friday morning. Most of the time I will have the tracking on but I may only push the OK button some of the time so there may be places along the route that have long gaps between the tracking locations. Here is the link to the tracking.

I hope to do real time blogging while riding. I have a service that transcribes my voice mails and post them to my blog. If the transcription is bad it also has a link to listen to the recording as a MP3 file.

There are other riders attempting BBG's or BBG 3000's and one other rider who is going to attempt the Trifecta with me. He is not registered for the ride as he has to call in sick Thursday and Friday to get off.

I want to thank all of the persons who agreed to be witness for the event. Barb Smith, Ray King and Dorsey Price are really going way out of there way and I really appreciate it.

Wish me luck as I am not really in the best shape for this ride. Work has really had me busy for the last 3 months and getting the body ready has not went as well as I hoped. The wing is ready to rock and should perform flawlessly.

To give you some idea about this ride here is a link to the last time I did it back in 2009.

Have a great trip Greg. Hope all goes well, great time of the year to be doing this.

BTW, pretty impressive riding history ya got there. I tip my hat helmet to you.

Making awesome time! 1300+ miles in the first 17 hours. Gotta love those new Texas speed limits.

Let me put it this way: these guys are not normal. They rode 2250 miles in 34 hours and 45 minutes and they were as fresh as if they had just ridden to the nearest Starbucks. I have completed a few easy rides, and these two are on what I think is the longest RTE ever! Way to go...

Will post pics when I get a full internet connection tomorrow.

Congrats to Greg and Mystery Man for successfully completing the BBG x 3!!!

I cant wait to read the ride report about the harrowing third day, with 700 miles of a punishing Texas thunderstorm which flipped big rigs, sent cars careening off the road, detours, and the storm going into Jax.

Don't Stop Believing... :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Awesome! I had no doubt they'd be successful. Considering this is Greg's second Trifecta and that other guy's 10th or so IBA ride this year alone!

Rarefiedterritory there. And having done one...I can say they're slightly messed up in the head.

That's crazy! I felt like dying after doing one BBG, wouldn't even have considered doing two more.

Good job! :clapping:
