Price: $9,000

No, I am not interested in parting it out. This is a turn-key sale. If you want to part it out, buy it, take it apart and make some money. I don't have the time or energy to undo all the work I have put into this bike. This is my baby, but it needs a home and someone who will ride it and take care of it. I'm just not riding it like I use to. PM with questions and serious offers only.

Thank you.

Wow!

The bike is a beauty and your presentation of it shows an attention to detail that are equal to the bike's appointments.

Nicely done! Best of success with the sale.

Duff, say it ain't so....

Trade yah straight across for KrZy8? Then you won't feel so bad about having a gorgeous machine just sitting around.

:fuck:

Hugs n' Kisses

For those that know me (and are a bit surprised by the sale), don't frett! It is just time for me to let her go. I'll be back on two wheels again, but at this point in my life the bike is just not getting used and needs a home. Truth is, this sale is probably a year past-due.

For everyone else, she's a clean bike and I'd appreciate spreading the word to help me sell it.

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks! I am slightly OCD and quite picky about things. It seems to show a bit more on the FJR.

Since I really like riding with Duff and don't want him to sell his bike, I have to say that this motobike is truly one POS. In the sunshine, the paint and shiny surfaces will blind you. If you call Duff on the cell phone or radio while he's riding, you can understand every word. Heck, the rims don't even have the slightest out of round to them, Duff uses a calibrated dial indicator to measure and adjust after reach ride.

Yep, this is truly one POS bike.

<bump>

Edit - Duff, Pinks is on the 17th, midnight....

Does that mean you are going? Because we seem to have a scheduling conflict... you better ask your SO what you are doing the afternoon of the 17...

Maybe we should fix our schedule issue... AND do Pinks! :yahoo:

Oh, and thanks for the "glowing recommendation"! :dribble:

Okay, I have to ask. With all the electric and electronic farkles does this motor come with a custom wiring diagram and operating manual for the new owner? No matter how beautiful a job you did with the wiring (and I've no doubt that you did a beautiful job), a complete wiring diagram showing how everything is tied in is going to be essential for the new owner if they are not an electrical engineer.

Unfortunately for me this is not a particularly good time of year to be trying to ride that beauty back home to the Northeast. So I guess someone else is going to be the lucky new owner.

Well, Yes and No. The more complicated wiring done on this bike HAS wiring diagrams that I can provide. In fact, they are on the website I linked in the ad. As far as how things work, it's quite a simple setup. Turn on one switch and everything comes to life. Trust me, reading about it is way more complicated than operating it.

So, you should buy it... I'll store it until the weather gets better... :)

Just sayin'!
