I've been holding back on buying some new cans for my '07 back since I bought it back in December...

Shame on those of you that bought Remus Hexacone pipes and just had to go and post pictures/sound clips of them...I couldn't take it anymore. After hovering over the "Order Now" button for 10minutes, I finally clicked on it. The deed is done. Guess I'll have to plan that Vegas trip with the wife for some other year...she'll understand, right?? :yeaahh: :russian_roulette:

I'll report back once I've got them on. I'm sure my review will be similar to others.

Enjoy.... living on the couch or in the garage.

Let us know if you experience any great bodily harm. ;) :p

Hexacones sound nicer on a drive by or drive away than a static rev up . A mate has them on his 06 and I wasnt convinced until I heard it ride away , Very Noice I must admit, they are not overly noisy but definately more masculine thana stock sowing machine.

I agree; they sound much better when the engine is under load. Full throttle acceleration is particularly nice. My Holeshot header probably alters the sound even more:

Ahh the Uncle Remus Slipacone Hexamount exhausts... yes, they are purdy and sound nice too.

I have the "BUY" button ready to click on three websites, interesting differences between the sites.

Comparisions:

Note: All these prices are for the Titanium model including California TAX, where applicable, and

shipping to 92026, Southern California :

https://www.remusexhaustshop.com/

Staten Island, NY

Exhaust $939.55

No Tax

Shipping $49.98

Total $989.53

https://www.motorsports-network.com/

Exhaust $949.99

Tax $83.12

Shipping $20.00

Total $1,053.11

https://www.remususa.com/

Exhaust $998.00

Tax $97.31

Shipping $79.85

Total $1,175.16

Interesting note about RemusUSA, if you pick them up in person they only

charge $20.00 for handling versus $79.85 for shipping and Handling Seriously,

$20 to pick them up in person? That the Eff?

Anywho, time to click.

I went with Motorsports-network...$949, no tax (outside of CA) and free shipping on orders over $300

So what is the difference between the Two bros. and the Remus? Does one have a lower rumble, or is one considerably louder than the other?
