The rubberized coating on the bottom snap of my Firstgear Rainier has torn and worn off. Can anyone offer guidance on repair or replacement? I've thought of bonding a thin rubber-like material to the head (assuming I can find some) or outright replacing the snap but I can't find one with a soft nonscratch head.

I was thinking the same thing . . . Just got a Rainier on closeout from Motorcyclegear.com . . . wore it on a 3 day trip to Maine last week . . . great jacket . . . even better in low temps with FirstGear's Cold Weather Base Layer shirt . . .

If for some reason the rubber does not adhere well, you can carefully peel the "cap" off and reglue it with super glue.
