I ordered the Stebel air horn and wiring kit off of Amazon for $57 total and WOW :yahoo: That sucker is loud :clapping:

Wiring kit took 5 minutes, but the horn took about an hour to figure out how to mount. Here's what I did;

1. Removed old horn on left side

2. With channel locks, I bent the old bracket (Up and away from radiator) so the permanent mount was horizontal.

3. Remove the 2 1/2 inch flat piece so it's just the solid permanent bracket.

4. The I grinded the little bent down piece so it was just flat and the horn would butt up to it.

5. I had to make the hole a little larger by drilling the bracket hole out

6. Mount horn and then tuck it like the picture so it fits inside the fairing

I left the old right side horn in and it works simultaneously with the air horn. LOUD!!!

You may need to beef up your suspension. :huh:

The Stebel is a good horn. I have the Stebel dual horns. Sounds like a Ferrari. :yahoo:

Good attention getters, but...

Turn your forks all the way and measure the forks/fender at full compression.

There was interference on mine and I had to re-shape the plastic inner fairing to clear.

Does not look like mine's even close, but I'll recheck it when I get to ride it later this week. Thanks
