RJ, Not to start any kind of argument with you, but I do hope you are kidding. To say that someone can "multitask" better than another is a no brainer, but texting when driving is friggin dangerous no matter how good you think you are... Just kind of caught me off guard on a "motorcycle" forum that anyone would think texting while driving is "OK" in any capacity... The "sent from blackberry" was an added touch... Kevin
RJ got you good!

of course he was DWT, at least this time he wasn't DUI DWT.

Oh, and Reno, whatcha doing in a cage, eh pisswhistle?

It is fairly representative of events like this that happen every day.
'Correctamundo....'

Driving is probably the most dangerous thing most of us will ever do...Texting while driving--or anything else that so effectively takes your attention from the critical job at hand...should not be tolerated.
I don't know...? Where I live, everybody drives: the know-nothing 15/16 y.o. teen-agers; moms everywhere, constantly talking on their cell-phones; OAPs (old age pensioners) with limited faculties; BFT (big truck) road-bullies; the chemically-impaired (if you trust the news?, most of society); and the rest -- inept drivers who buy SUVs (the bigger, the better) -- because they (erroneously) think they're safe and by inference, then, they won't need much driving skill....

Texting while driving appears to be just a continuation of the on-going -- going to hell in a handbasket -- that's happening on American roadways.

NBD (no big deal)....

You are correct dcarver... RJ got me good! Should have looked back and figured that one out..haha "Gosh, your post is very interesting, I've never thought about it like that before now." Nice to see a little sarcasm/humor, but I do admit I was like "What the f*ck is this guy thinking".. Kudos to ya' RJ... Kevin

That is because it seems like everyone has realized they are "entitled" to do whatever they want, regardless of the consequences. It doesn't really matter, because the chances of finding a good attorney and a soft judge are much better than any real punishment coming down on anyone.

Look how long it has taken for people to realize that DWI is a serious problem and needs to be stopped. Cell-phone issues will take just as long, because educating the public takes forever. Cops will write millions of tickets, the media will run millions of articles, and people will continue doing it. I suggest buying the biggest safest SUV you can afford to drive.

Oh, and Reno, whatcha doing in a cage, ..?
Mosty texting but I do spend at least as much time reading my kindle which is updated every morning with the WSJ and porn.
.....I'll agree that many maladroits out there can't text and drive, ..but there are many adroit folks on the road and we're perfectly capable of doing more than one thing. Any of you anti-texting nazi's want to match driving records with my texting driving record?? ...bring it on. Zero points and zero claims on this text-boy's record.

Looks like I found it:

1.) Jeezers all the doom and gloom public service messages here ....and the the fist one totally fake so who's going to take that negative message seriously?

2.) Here is something a bit more positive and a much better safety message (link below)

3.) You'll also note that it has DCarver's girlie bike showcased .....although not Don piloting it, -but it may give him an idea or two.

Instead of being some doom and gloom and nasty, perhaps the safety nazi's could learn form this video to have a bit of fun --it sure beats the other negative crap. Way too much talk of crashing and death and shit on here. It's like an obsession, nearly daily.

Anway, for your viewing pleasure, something with a better message and certainly more fun.

"An(y)way, for your viewing pleasure, something with a better message and certainly more fun" Indeed it was... The creativity you utilized on the placement of your cell phone "in the end" was clever.... haha Have a good one "Reno"... Kevin

Yep, sacrafices one makes to be "seen". Note none of these riders were killed, maimed or sodomized by those evil and terrible text'rs.
