Received my Throttlemeister today and I'll be doing the install this weekend.

Any tips/pointers for those with an AE and dealing with the heated grips?

I read somewhere it's better to heat the grips up before the install. Can anyone verify that this should be done?

Also, if anyone has pictures of the install please post or let me know. The TM directions aren't as "good" as I thought they would be; for me "a picture is worth a thousand words."

Thanks.

There should be no intereference with the heated grips. The friction sleeve goes on the throttle tube under the grips. This is where the throttlemeister locks into. Just don't over do it when you are installing the friction sleeve under the grips. You don't want to damage the heating elements in the grip.
