Interesting. I guess I'll have to stop by more often. I never knew there was so much crying, whining and complaining (here) till I read RFH last post. Personally I think that post was more of a rant than I read anywhere here at fjrforum in the last year. I never even molded Forum High 5's as a prop, actually never even thought this much about this stuff. Wow. I guess there's a lot of drama here that I overlook and don't even realize. Guess I need to look at this place in a different light?

And I never knew we kept score either? RFH- Sorry I never helped out your Dad or his bike. I could say likewise but I'm not like that, never been a pouter or a what can u do for me type of person. That's just not me.

Ah yes, let the attacks begin.
1. The forum is free and is a wonderful source of information and entertainment. I have improved my Dad's FJR to the point that he can comfortably and safely ride it anywhere I decide we should go and I did it all with information gathered on this forum. Whom do I thank for that? The General Membership certainly but the Admins make this possible. K.J. I don't recall one single piece of useful technical advice from you ever. So, thanks for the entertainment.

2. There are many folks on this forum whom I would be willing to travel across the country to meet, based on what they type here. The Admins with the exception of SkooterG are not friendly. They never join in those threads that are the most fun and entertaining. The only time we seem to hear anything from them is when they are spanking one of us. I have not ever had any desire to meet the Admins because they always seem so unpleasant, based again on what they type here.

3. In the thread where OFace got himself banned, Ignacio made it very clear that they were working late into the night on fixing and improving. He repeatedly explained that work was being done at great personal sacrifice of time and energy. Somehow that got overlooked with so many folks complaining, maybe because he never cried or whined about the work he was doing!

4. In case you geniuses have not figured this out, you can vote on as many polls as you like, you can start as many threads as you want, you can bash the Admins as much as you want and You Will Not Get OFace Reinstated! You can keep hitting the "Like" button and giving each other the Internet equivalent of a high five and you still have accomplished nothing. NOTHING! Do you really think Ignacio and Bounce give a crap about the tiny little group of complainers in this thread? Have you not noticed that as huge as this forum's membership is, only a very few of us have chimed in on this? OFace has to take this responsibility on himself. Get worked up if you want, he did this to himself, he has to fix it himself. I repeat that bashing the Admins only poisons the waters. Bashing these guys may make you feel better but it is NOT helping OFace. Unless it is just the enjoyment of bashing and complaining you want.

5. I do not enjoy the heavy handed attitude the Admins have displayed at various times in the past. I sure don't enjoy not being told what I can and can't post. However, I have seen that without Adult Supervision this place dissolves into chaos. I have little fear of being "banned" so no, I am not walking on eggshells. I have no reason to "be on my knees". I don't owe any of you anything and I sure don't benefit from kissing up to the Admins. I can walk away from this forum at any time Unlike those of you crybabies that brag about doing it but then feel too lonely and want back in.

6. Stop telling each other how brave and tough you all are and ask yourselves what good you did here. Then, if you are smart enough, try to decide who did the most good for OFace. You or me? Oh, and even though you did not say it yet, You are welcome.

My bad, but I do agree w you. Marty just doesn't have a public voice here as of this writing. Yes it was his doings, not any life sentence stuff tho. Some think we shouldn't bring it up like its witchcraft voodoo shit or something. I think we are all adults here, time to move on, probation would be an understandable situation.

Have any of you actually tried PMing any of the Admins to see what you can do to make the situation better?

I have done those things. I have tried diplomacy, I have tried negotiation, I have tried reason. You guys just keep pissing off the only ones that could bring this to the resolution you all claim to want.

If anyone wants to know, Marty is probably not going to come back. Marty is apparently not capable of giving the Sincere Apology that would be required. He is not willing to say he is sorry when he is not. I cannot ask anyone to lie and I could not ask Marty to lie. I would hope that is based on his integrity, not his stubborn nature.

I am going to Publicly, Sincerely, Openly, Respectfully make a request of the Admins. I am asking the Admins to consider the personalities involved and attempt to reach a compromise. Do you guys want someone to lie and say they are sorry when they are not? Are you prepared to make a lifelong enemy of a really good man or are you willing to bend?

And for all you sniping little bitches who have aggravated this situation and made it worse, I hope you are happy.

btw, I also run one of these little online communities. - I completely respect what Ignacio has going on here. It is a thankless job, with most having the opinion you're not a good person because you didn't let them play the way they like in your sandbox. I have been a member for some time, I have contributed to and benefited from this community more than you or many may ever know.

There are a couple of strong personalities in play here, with more going on in the background than will every see the light of day unless Bounce, Ignacio, or Marty post it.

I also have complete respect for Marty for standing on what he believes is right.

Sorry to disappoint - but I do not understand how it could be difficult for someone to take a stand - have you never felt passionate about a single thing (rhetorical, I am not asking for a response). Additionally, it is not difficult for me to show respect to both parties, for the reasons stated above.

RFH, slow down, cool off, and step away from the keyboard, my friend. For one who is calling for respect, you are going against your own advice. While you don't know OM personally, many of us here do and know that while he is a smart ass he is also a very good man - sometimes it's difficult to "read" the words without the inflection to understand. I learned long ago not to make judgements of anyone from a few posts on the internet.

I just posted this thread. Now that everyone has gotten things off their chests, how about we get back to what we all love the most and what brought us together... RIDING. B)
