Just an observation. It might help to post the Russell info outside a portion of the forum where login is required. You can only see the group buy postings if you are logged in. I often browse postings without logging in and would never have known about the seat deal unless someone asked in an off handed way and posted a link which seemed "dead" until I smartened up and realized you needed to log in to view the link. Then it dawned on my how I missed the group buy on the Soltek HID. Ordered a seat and appreciate everyones great input on this forum. Would like to seat the seat orders go high enough to get the max discount. No doubt it is clearly explained on this forum you have to log in to see certain info but a little awareness might save everyone some money. Thanks again.
That's totally by design. Group Buy's are a perk and privilege of being a member in good standing. Lurkers, spammers, scammers, and non-supportive members will miss out. You can choose to login or not now.

The list is out of control. Below are the members that listed that they have a Build Date (or paid). Some, like myself, added ourselves and the were graciously added by 2006FJR because we sent him an e-mail.

I know, as of Friday, my wife and I were numbers 36 and 37.
I feel the best thing to do is let 2006FJR call Heather, at Russel's, and then post here how we are doing. A weekly posting is all we need.
From my understanding, we have 15% for sure. If we lose 5% it will cost us $25.00 more. Come on guys...are you gonna give up a Russel Seat for $25.00? (Then you deserve a sore butt)
If only a fraction of the people, who are waiting for the discount to hit 20%, order now, WE HAVE ALREADY MADE IT.

Heather told me she would email me every few days with the number. We were up to 40 a few days ago and I know by Monday we will be much higher when they count orders from people over the weekend. I promise to come back and update and when we hit 40 I will have Ignacio post something letting everyone know about the 20% dicount and it being applied to all orders. We got the 20% discount and I feel we no longer need to keep a list. We did what we set out to do and if everyone who has not ordered does not jump on this deal then they only have themselves to blame. Deals like this do not come up very often and I for one an very happy Russell was so generous with their discount. I for one can't wait to start seeing everyone's seats next month. For those that have not placed your order yet you have until November 30th.

I'm not real pleased when over 95 people say they going to do a Russel seat order and when it comes time to put the money down 70 % dissappear, and missing a 25 % discount in the process. Seems like the 70 % no shows should ultimately pick up the tab for those who are true to their word on buying a seat.
Two things:
1) There never was a possibility of a 25% discount . It was a verbal mistake made by Heather at Russell.
2) Not all the orders are in yet. We have until the end of the month to place our orders.
For instance, I removed my name from the list, but I will probably place an order before the end of the month.
I, for one, will certainly still order. I'm waiting toward the end of the month so as to get a late build date so I can continue riding in December. I do believe there are many more like me.
