I have the cargo pants with knee/shin, and hip armour. They are very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

Saw one like you're describing about a year ago at Powersports and RV in Ottawa. Definately a good idea. As for riding :erm: Insurance broker screw up means I won't be able to pick up mine until Monday. It's supposed to be sunny and in the low 50's.
