I have a 2007 Yamaha FJR1300A that needs a home. This is a very well taken care of Gen II with 36k miles and all service as required. The bike is spotless and ready for someone to fly here and ride it home. $7500.00. This bike has:
Cee Baileys tinted windshield
Frame sliders
Pirate's Lair...
My FJ shares the garage with a Triumph Tiger 1050. You are correct, the triple has tons of character and smoothness. I ride the FJ when the wife wants to go, and the Tiger when I want to have some long distance fun solo.
Just a quick update. I found and purchased a pristine 2007 "A" model in Black Cherry from a gentleman in Deming, New Mexico. This bike is spotless. Has 36k miles on it, all warranty work done and well maintained. All for the great price of $7k. Could not be happier, and the Triumph Tiger...
I also ride a Tiger 1050. To make it even better on longer rides, with better legs, switch your front sprocket to a 19. World of difference. Best of luck to you. Make sure you go out there and represent Triumph proudly. I know you will. And remember, we all love pics.
 I purchased a pre-owned 2007 that came with a CeeBailey tinted shield. Not real happy with it so I am shopping for something different. I don't have the pleasure of having the stock shield to measure so can someone give me the height and width measurement of the stock shield.
Thanks...
Thanks for the offer Dark Knight, but in my opinion Corbin seats are planks that are under engineered and overpriced. I have tried them twice, at great expense, and sold em off to other riders pretty quickly. Of course that is just my opinion, or at least my boney asses opinion.
