Greg, I accidentally clicked unlike to your post. I meant to press like. I would have done the same thing. Ain't nothing like being 2000 miles from home on a deserted road and worrying about such things. Personally I think the cost of repair was not significant.

I bought the mid sized Calisci for my 09. I love it. The OEM for me was not good. Even in summer I keep the larger Calisci on the bike. Good price too. Bill
