2007 Yamaha FJR1300 with about 17K miles for $7990 with all extras. Will sell for less minus some of the extras. Rare model with anti-lock brakes and semi-automatic "paddle-shift" transmission. Includes two spare windshields and two spare seats (stock, and custom Rocky Mayer and Russell seats)...
I bought most of the packages of GoPro mounts by GoPro. The handlebar one clamps nicely to the mirror arm but the windshield movement can interfere with it if you are not careful. But the big problem, all of the GoPro official mounts I have found stack in a way to make 90degree turns only...
There is a RAM mount for the XM30 antenna. I bought mine from Whitehorse Gear and it is item 348, Magnetic antenna plate, for $6.50. It attaches to my RAM mount for my Garmin and I attach all of this to a stem RAM ball with an arm (short one normally and long one when I use a tank bag)...
I got a similar dent riding slowly (3 MPH) over a high speed bump in a parking lot intended to keep people from cutting through. I was only loaded with me. None of the store owners would offer to do anything. I have ridden it as such for 3 years with no affect.
Mine did not think it would be covered so did not want to ask. I told them that they know me, know how careful I ride and how well I take care of the bike (er, pay them to take care of the bike). They then contacted Yamaha and it was covered under YES at about 12K/3 years.
I have never heard this 2nd gear trick before. I will have to try it. I just finished all the low speed stuff they have us do at the MSF ERC and was afraid I was burning up the engine/clutch/rear brake while trying to do U-turn after U-turn in 1st gear. I am always afraid the clutch will drop...
You mean it has a finger shifter????? Actually, I never could get used to any of the different ways described for using the finger shifter. Besides, I could not even remember to turn it on. It is all foot shifting for me.
In 2007 I wanted to get a new Connie or the FJR. I liked the looks of the FJR better so wanted to test ride. They would only let me test ride a used bike and happened to have a 2006 AE. I said I did not want the AE (cost and reliability) but test rode it to see what the comfort, handling and...
I certainly would not want to be abusing my starter to begin with so many attempts to start. When I leave work it is sometimes 20 degrees and the bike will have been out all day. I will stick with my Yuasa since it is a known entity (now 4 years old).
Do not worry. They custom make when the order is received as they cannot stock everything they have designed. They also travel a lot to shows which may hold them up. Watch the calendar carefully and dispute only if not received after 55 days.
+1 I can pop the top with my fingers and I got a funnel at Pep Boys with a flexible tube and an on/off valve. I put coolant in the funnel, the tube in the coolant reservoir and open the valve until the correct amount is added.
My Arai Astral-X Large fits but I have to carefully arrange it for the case to close easily. It seems that the visor cover plates make it a little wide to fit easily. I try not to do it often; I rather carry my chick magnet in with me.
I agree with the question about the Arai My$$tique ----...
