Ponyfool picked up the bike from me this afternoon and the only concern that I had as he rode down the driveway was "Damn - he's going to split his new helmet wide open with that huge grin".
Thanks to this forum for a lot of entertainment and a lot of information over the last two years!
Take a look at my ad in the "For Sale" section - I'm here in Beaverton with a basically brand new bike with clear title that is just waiting to see a new home.

Have to say I agree with Sunnyside being an excellent dealership - Both Dan and Pat were very helpful on Saturday when I picked up the '06 - Warchild happened to be there and also gave me some good pointers.
Sounds like they hope to sponsor another tech clinic this fall at their new location.
I was looking for someone's opinion on extended warranties or synthetic oil?
Any thoughts?

Jeesh - just kidding guys - gotta give some of us newbies abreak some times.
:D
Bill - Ken O here - you bought my 05 - hijacking your thread but had to ask how the bike is doing??
Obviously you are putting a lot more miles on than I was able to. Lost 15 lbs, been working out some and seem to have gotten rid of my vertigo since we last talked. I put a deposit on an 06 in...
Pat Jaquish from Sunnyside (WA) just called - they have received another 5 bikes - interesting that all 5 were delivered with Metzler tires.
Someone is scheduled to pickup on Weds - keep us informed.
For those waiting for a bike from Sunnyside, Pat just called to say they had just received the first two FJR's that had been ordered - they do not expect another shipment until the 15th of May.
Someone is going to be very happy!!
KSFJR - I think you are assuming that he is selling the stock purchased (by reinvested dividends) for the same dollar per share price as he origially reported as dividend income each year. If this is like most mutual funds that have been held onto for 15 years, the per share price is now...
Jeesh - shows me how much I've been paying attention - until you moved my query over I had no idea all the WFO postings were going on in this part of the forum.
I've been watching with interest the numbers as people register for the summer Reno meet.
There was originally some thought that Yamaha, USA might participate as a vendor or help promote the event - any news about where that is headed??
I just sold my V-Max to a guy on the east coast - he had it shipped back using ForwardAir. Just got an e-mail indicating it arrived fine. Only real problem is they do not supply tie down straps or really assist in any way in loading the bike in the container.
Getting around to installing the Superbrace from the group buy - How to take the original fork protectors off without damaging the paint or fork? Cut with hack saw blade?
