Many years ago when I first started lurking on this forum Ray was a Larger Than Life presence here. When I finally got to meet he and Patti at the first YFO they probably thought I was crazy, I was So Happy to meet them both. Pop and I were privileged to ride with them for two magical days...
You are correct on the name, but pretty far off on the location. Tucumcari is completely on the eastern side of NM, Shiprock is completely to the western side. Actually outside the town of Shiprock (go figure), getting very close to the 4 corners area.
I spoke to Extrememarine yesterday and he tells me they are working on it. A couple of things went wrong with some maintenance/upgrades and they are working to resolve it. It seems to me that any of the longer lasting forums eventually have some issues as things change and grow, this forum has...
Fred, do you use the same forum name on ADVrider? I am beginning to wonder if I will ever make it up to the east coast but a dual sport ride in Vermont sounds wonderful.
Bounce if you are answering me, it was a 2008 GoldWing. The 1800 Hondapotamous. I actually like the big Honda pretty well but Pop did not.
We had a 1984 GoldWing Interstate, a Wineberry Red 1200. We loved that thing and it is still my favorite of all the GoldWings.
Great to see you still posting your Ride Reports and pics. Some of your stuff shaped Rides and Vacations for me and my family.
Pop and I spent a night at the Mt. Magazine Lodge and I have a pic of him sitting at that same table. But even with her mask, Tammy is a lot nicer to look at!
Gary, I am glad to see you are still around. I am sad that you bought a GoldWing you don't ride.
A couple days ago I met up with Pop for a short FJR ride. Pop will be 75 this month and he really looks it these days. I keep wondering when he will retire his FJR but he doesn't seem to be ready...
I know I probably should not post after having a couple of beers but your dilemma has been eating at me. I am so sorry you are dealing with all of this.
I can tell you that I have been the "victim" of a storm and I have been the contractor making money after the storm and I have been the guy...
Just some opinions from a fellow '15ES owner, I believe RossKean is 100% correct. Auxiliary Lighting. Get Some.
The AssFault Gray of the '15 just disappears, blends in or something. I have had more bird kills with this motorcycle than all of my riding friends combined. I mounted some LEDs...
That depends entirely on YOU. I love mine. It may not do YOU any good at all.
For me just the blacked out color scheme on my AssFault Gray 2015 was worth the money. Then add in the ability to quickly change preload and damping with a few button strokes...
For my Pop it is a non issue. He...
This was Very Good Stuff. I appreciate you taking the time to put it together.
Last night I was reading through this and Mrs. Redfish waddled in and looked over my shoulder. She commented on the beautiful pics. I reminded her of the Yellowstone pics, in particular the big waterfall in the...
