Made it back to Houston last night without any real downpours, just some light rain and heavy mist around Hot Springs and then warm and humid the rest of the way home. Sore and still a bit hung over, but back home just fine.

I just read that there are a couple of companies working on waterproof android phones. There are also some glove makers that are making gloves with conducive threads sewn into the fingertips that will allow you to control the capacitive screens on smartphones. I would.guess that within a year...

Just saw a review on helmet cams in wired magazine and they rated the contour higher than the go pro and there are iPhone and android aps that let you use your phone as a viewfinder and playback device. Also has a glove friendly switch to start and stop recording. This may be my next purchase.
