Yes. All those work. I found the culprit...the gasket that seals the faring where the windshield's mechanism sticks through has fallen off and has become entangled in the mechanism. :angry2: Now I'm debating the effort of removing all the fairings just to get to this gasket.

My gasket just did the same thing yesterday. I see here that you did not replace your gasket. Are you seeing any long-term problems like water damage/rust/etc by not having the gasket installed?

This is an old but relevant thread. I just experienced the same problem and was wondering if you just used a long screw driver or rod to move the gasket around or did you take the fairing off, remove the gasket, then reassemble everything?

The windshield will not raise. It is in the down position now. Any suggestions?

You can fill the radiator without removing the panel on the clutch side but you will have to remove the panel to fill the overflow reservoir. If you don't, you run the risk of getting coolant on the plastic which, according to some info on the fjrtech.com site, os a bad thing. Taking the...
