I've got it on my 05 stock shield. I did not like the amount of buffeting with stocker but also did not want a large shield. The edging seems to reduce the buffeting about 50-60% for me(I'm 6') when shield full up.

I just got the info. I called the Candy Store and they said on the weekends it's 9:00am-8:00pm for non-local traffic and during the week it's 5:00am-8:00pm for non-locals.

I saw the signs declaring the overnight closures but also saw separate signs saying "local traffic"only. I was assuming that meant for the rest of the day hours when I came up to the CHP checkpoint that appeared to be checking peoples' id, so I just turned around. So, is it local traffic only...

Anyone know the details of Hwy74 regarding "local traffic" only? Got turned back this morning on way out to Idyllwild :angry2: 74 is my gateway to all the great roads. I hate having to freeway it to get there.

I believe every doubt you have. In fact, I bet if you were to carefully inspect all the hardware that is required to remove/loosen to perform a valve inspection, it probably looks untouched. I may be wrong but won't be surprised if true. If the oil and filter were changed, it would not look...

Got one of these from ebay. It is a small laboratory thermometer with large LCD display so it's easy to read at a glance. It's basic though, no min/max or backlight. It does have F/C switch and on/off switchand and a 3' probe lead. I put the probe up front under the fairing away from engine...

I saw the same ad! Looks promising with a diffferent contour than other shields. They list one specifically for the FJR and I'm curious if the dimensions(HxW) are close to the stock shield. XCSP, If you get one, let us know how you like it.

I currently use Red Wing 'hiker'(Oxford-6668 style) workboots. Steel toe, ankle protection, comfortable, waterproof, look ok walking amongst public. Probably less expensive than motoboot- especially since my employer(govt) pays for safety shoes once a year for me :P Red Wing website shows...
