Yes, compatible except for the drive spacer. Just swap the spacer and it's done.

    Rear wheel problem '03.

OK I think I figured it out. '04 spacer tube on the drive side is 1/2" longer...exactly the distance I need to line it up. WHEW!! Spacer tube on it's way! For those interested.....'03 spacer tube is 2 3/4" long. '04 is 3 1/4" long.

    Rear wheel problem '03.

I recently swapped rear wheels with Bill Jones, since he was getting rid of his FJR cheap with a straight wheel and mine is basically a pretzel. His is an '04 and mine is an '03. I was positive the wheels would be exactly the same,(both non ABS) but apparently not. When I go to tighten the '04...

FJRandy's plug 'n' play horn harness UPDATE!

Those horns are basically the same as Stebel Magnum Blasters. Not near as loud as that airhorn. I did tests back in '06 and posted everything here. For the life of me I can't find it anymore.

FJRandy's plug 'n' play horn harness UPDATE!

I have the Stebel compact nautilus on mine, but I made it two pieces. Horn on the left, and compressor on the right joined by a piece of fuel line. There isn't any "good" place to mount the entire unit properly because the forks hit it. Email me and I'll send you pics of the install...

FJRandy's plug 'n' play horn harness UPDATE!

Hudson, did you see the pic of how the relay is supposed to be mounted? Just curious. It was posted way back in '05 or '06. Maybe you have it in the wrong spot? It attaches to the right side fairing frame, away from the battery. I haven't had anyone give me any other feedback on it so not quite...

Stock horn wiring and Stebel air horn

The Stebel horn NEEDS to be grounded DIRECTLY to the battery. You blew the relay (you didn't say which brand and it does matter) because most likely the current rose too high for the relay to handle. If your connections are solid, look for a TYCO relay. It's the only true waterproof relay out...
