Make sure your latch is in the correct position, put the seat on, line up the front and push from the rear until it moves into the holes. Then place on the rear by lining up the back of the rear seat first.

It did fix the abrupt throttle. I am running the config exactly like you listed. I did, last night, try the 419-001 but it's too early to determine mileage. I'll post back after a few hundred miles and let you know what I find. I am running my bike stock.

I'm using Uselesspickles map and average about 43 not much difference.

I put on the KBlinks and all is well. Just don't lower the front forks.

I don't have the heated grips but I do have the grip puppies and it fits fine and does not bind at all.

Bought the Kuryakyn Universal Throttle Boss for about 10 bucks and it is one of the best cramp busters I have found. Smaller in footprint and not in the way as much as some I've had. Great addition for little money. Here's an example...

I get a brief whistle once the bike is started. Seems to be the starter. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

Hmmmmm....since every site visited is recorded on my server and open to review I rarely check out any sites that are not work related. I know most companies have this capability. I fired an employee once for visting way too many sites when he should have been working. He averaged 6.25 hours...

If you want some more great improvement download the map M419-001. I did this last night and it is a new bike all over again. Unbelievable through out the power band.
