The AE rocks. I love it, and havent looked back, and would definitely buy again. Its got its quirks, but its great. I only have 4500 miles though (hopefully another 1000 or so over labor day weekend.)

+1 If you are worried about wearing the clutch at a light, there is no reason for concern. FJRocket is right on.

I like the hitch pin idea... doesnt quite work for every replacement, but good nonetheless. Dont reuse cotterpins if at all possible. They do break. I have seen it many times, sometimes with unfortunate consequences.

NOPE!!!! It just sucks having to hold the clutch in at intersections! I dont typically use much of neutral anyway. The AE is so different that I kinda have separately developed reflexes for each type of shifting. Makes it easy to switch.

Use antiseize! I had to work with damaged threads on a motorcycle head once. Aint fun. Aint worth it. Wouldnt worry too much about conductivity too much. You already have tons of resistance in the system. The high temp stuff is the right stuff to use.
